“Life is to live”
Michael Jackson wanted to live for 150 years. He appointed twelve doctors at his service who would examine him from hair to toenails on a daily basis. His food was always tested within the laboratory before serving. Another fifteen folks were appointed to keep his daily exercises and other physical work out in check. His bed had the technology to check his oxygen level. Organ donors were held ready all the time so that whenever required they can readily donate their organ. The maintenance of even the organ donors was taken care of by him. Michael Jackson was proceeding with a dream of living for 150 years. Alas! He failed.
On twenty-fifth June 2009, at the age of 50, his heart stopped functioning. The constant effort of those twelve expert doctors didn’t help. All that constant checks of his diet, oxygen level, and his exercise were in vain. Even, the combined efforts of doctors from LA and California too couldn’t save him. The person who had never put a step forward without consulting his appointed doctor for the last 25 years, couldn’t fulfil his dream of living 150 years.
Jackson’s final journey was watched live by a pair of.5 million people which is the longest live telecast till date. On the day he died,i.e. 25th June ’09, 3.15 pm, Wikipedia, Twitter, and AOL’s instant messenger stopped working. The world searched Michael Jackson on Google that day. Jackson tried to challenge death however death challenged him back. The materialistic life inside this materialistic world embraces materialistic death rather than a traditional one. This is the rule of life.
Now let’s think.
Are we earning for the builders, engineers, designers or decorators?
Whom are we trying to impress by showing high-priced house, car, and an extravagant wedding?
Do you remember the food items at the wedding reception which you attended a couple of days ago?
For the comfort of what number of generations, we wish to save our wealth?
Most of us have one or two children. Have you ever thought about how much do we need and how much do we want?
Do we think that our children won’t be able to earn much and that’s why it is necessary to save some extra resources for them?
Do you give time to yourself, family, or friends in a week?
Do you pay five-hitter of your earnings on yourself?
Why can’t we find happiness in life along with what we manage to earn?
Spend some time with yourself, your kids, your spouse, your relatives, and your friends. We don’t own any property, it’s only on some documents that our name is merely written that too temporarily. When we say “ this is my property ”, God passes a crooked smile. Don’t create an impression about someone his automobile or dress. Our renowned mathematicians and scientists used bicycle or scooter for travelling. It’s not a sin to be rich, but to be rich only with money is a sin. Control life or else life will control you.
The things that matter the most in life are happiness, satisfaction, and peace. Sadly, these cannot be bought.
